Chicken, Spinach, & Tomato Panini

Panini Sandwich Close-up

Did you know the George Foreman Grill makes a nice panini sandwich press? I like making this for leftover turkey or chicken. Just add whatever veggies you have around like spinach or tomatoes and some cheese, and you’re good to go. I coat the outside with a little olive oil to make it extra crispy.

so you mean there are uses for that damned thing? my husband has one and he isn’t so impressed with it for grilling actual meat. i’m a vegetarian and so don’t care if it grills meat well or not ;)

i bet my husband would love a sandwich like that.

That looks delicious! I have been wanting an expensive panini press, but people keep telling me that the GF works just as well. Too bad I gave mine away quite awhile ago!

I actually like my GF grill, but the cleanup can sometimes be a pain if you let the gook dry out and cool. Otherwise, it’s still good for Easy Eats!

HonestyRain & Bruce - Grilled Tomato & Cheese sandwiches are great too! Yet another tomato recipe I’ve been using ;)

If you wipe the GF grill with a paper towel *immediately* after cooking something, it wipes clean. Great trick that none of my college roommates could ever wrap their minds around.

Spray your GF with non-stick cooking spray before you cook anything and wiping off when cool enough is easier
