Free Easy Fries from Ore-Ida
School has started, and it’s killing my blogging energy. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food while I make it, and now I have old pictures piling up, unedited and without recipes. Great time management skills have I do not, Yoda would say.
But I just found this, and I figured the readers of Easy Eats would appreciate some free Easy Fries from Ore-Ida. Just fill it out and they’ll send you a coupon for some free microwave fries. Here some more info:
Extra Crispy Fries – Extra Fast! Deliciously crispy on the outside, light and tender on the inside! With specially prepared Ore-Ida® Golden Crinkles® tucked between an upper and lower crisping sheet, the heat from your microwave cooks them to crispy perfection in just 4 minutes.
Crisping sheets? Heck I’ll still eat it if it’s free
I’m not reading the Nutrition Facts either. Did you know that Ore-Ida comes from the combination of Oregon and Idaho? It’s true!

My Easy Fries CAUGHT FIRE in my microwave. Granted they were past the “best if used by” date but they should not catch on fire! No where on the package does it say, may spontaneously combust. In much less than 4 minutes they were on fire, smoking up my house. The microwave smells like ashes. My furniture smells of smoke. I called the manufacturer and they offered me free coupons. Free coupons! Their product should not catch fire in under 4 minutes for any reason!!!!!!

My Easy Fries also just caught fire in the microwave…a tremendous, rapid fire that pretty much overtook the entire microwave. The directions were followed to a “t” and the product combusted well before the 4 minutes were up. I will be taking a picture and contacting the company immediately. This is ridiculous!
